| The 'sun-downer' is an essential part of safari life and dates back to the time of the great 1920s 'white hunter' safaris of Bror Blixen and Denys Finch Hatton, when elegant cocktails were served while guests watched the magnificent spectacle of the African sunset. Timed to commence as the sun starts its descent, the Lions Bluff sun-downer begins with a gentle evening game drive, arriving at one of our special sundowner sites just as the evening sky turns lilac-pink. Drinks and snacks will be served and, as night falls, you will be driven back to the comfort of Lions Bluff. This is an experience not to be missed. |
